How to create a Baby Memory Album
You are a first time mum and your baby has arrived recently. Everything is new to you and each moment with your baby is a first time experience. You are constantly taking pictures of every cute and precious baby expression, little fingers and toes, baby’s first bath, first outing with the baby in the park, and all the new experiences as a first-time mum. You just want to record it all and be able to enjoy these photos for many years to come.
Now that the smart phone technology has advanced so much, the quality of the pictures taken with our phone is good enough for print. So why just keep them in your phone. Consider also the fact that if you do not have a good back-up practice in place to store your pictures over the years, all those precious images could disappear the second your phone gets lost, stolen or broken, and I am sure we all experienced at some point in time one of the three. Personally I changed so far 4 mobile phones, mostly because they simply stopped working beyond repair, and I did to manage to recover the data from all of them, therefore I personally lost hundreds of digital pictures so far.

What could you put in a Baby Memory Album? Bellow I have made a list of 10 photo ideas to include in it:
- Photo of our pregnancy test… For most parents, a pregnancy test is the start of your baby journey
- First Baby Scan Pictures… This is the first time you will see your baby, and this moment is full of emotions, anticipation and excitement. It also results in the baby’s first ‘portrait’ in a way or another.
- Maternity photoshoot. They are usually the highlight of your pregnancy, because If you hired the right professional, it could be a glamorous experience, where you get to feel like a queen for few hours and get reminded how beautiful you are.
- Baby Shower Memories. Friends and family will be at this mini event, celebrating with you your pregnancy and maybe finding out also the baby’s gender.
- The Birth Story: The day has come for you to meet your baby for the first time. It is a day of pain and joy, a day of many emotions, of hight and lows, a day not to be forgotten.
- Newborn photos…wether you take the photos yourself or you hire a professional, these pictures have to be done in the safest way possible, and should be on your top list of priorities simply because your baby will never be smaller than this and they make the cutest photos of the entire album.

- First Christmas…Tis time of year is all about family time, and what can be cutest then to experience this moment with your new baby.
